We are Blogging, Weekly Bolgging
This is a blog for my class at USU for my MEd degree in Instructional Technology and Learning Science. I probably would not blog here if it was not a class assignment. I really tire of all the STUFF on the net, much of which is empty and useless (like these first few sentences). Yet I find little bits, like Hansel and Gretel did to find their way home, that are important and useful, and even meaningful. And I learn about others. I learn about my children and some of the great ideas and skills they possess. I learn about old friends and students. I learn about the ideas and thoughts of others like me. I learn more about my wife from the things she shares with me about the blogs of others. And I see a great potential for interrelating amoung students and professionals. Will I follow everyone's blog and comment? NO! Did I enjoy a presentation on Wimba by a classmate on Blog creation and use, and did it make me want to be a better blogger? YES! Do I read the OCCASIONAL rifle / shotgun blog? YES! Do I love to hear about my new grand child, Tuesday's Truths, beauty and perfumes, movie reviews, food recipes and thoughts, family status, etc. form my childrens blogs? YES! Do I care about kittens playing in the yard blogs? NO! NO! NO! Will I maybe blog about fruit trees and cane fruits? That is yet to see. But I do see that I will be using blogging more in my classes as a tool to help, not clutter, the education process.
